hedge cutting and ditch flailing imageWe have recently purchased a Twose 4.2m Flail for our compact tractor. This is perfect for getting to those tight areas and because we use a compact tractor with turf tyres, any damage to fields is very minimal. This is perfect for clearing around field borders, ditches, verges and also hedges. If you have electric fencing and are sick of brambles etc being tangled through the tape and stopping the electric current flowing this is the easiest and perfect solution! Any hedge cutting must be done between September and February due to the protection of nesting birds. By using a flail it repeatedly cuts the debris reducing it in size so it can be left in situ to rot away making it quicker and cheaper.
